The laugh track is faked, by that I mean it is prerecorded and stored away
for future use in a myriad of so called comedy shows.
Many times there is a laugh track in the show were it would be extremely
problematic if not impossible to have any kind of studio audience present.
Then again many so called comedy shows would face the problem of their TV
audience not getting either the humor or the joke and thus not laughing.
Or the TV audience laughing in all the places at all the wrong things.
Just imagine a live TV audience on the set of the EMMY award winning comedy
TV show *MONK*
Would they be laughing at him or with him?
Or would any one be laughing at all?
