Exclusive: Office Shooting Two Endings and May Expand Next Season
By Kristin Veitch
<snipping spoilers>
Meanwhile, how's this for news of the maximum awesome variety? Sources
tell me the rumors are true that The Office may be expanding to a full
hour next season. Word is, NBC execs are seriously considering a
lengthier Office on Thursday nights (perhaps signaling a move of
Scrubs to ABC).
All will be revealed when the networks present their new fall
schedules to advertisers the week of May 14 in NYC. Can. Not. Wait!
(And yes, I'll be there to bring you all the scoop.)
--- The Office drains me after just 5 minutes of it, never mind 45
minutes, excluding commercials.
Clearly, they don't produce the show with your sensibilities in mind.
Is NBC nuts or are they just so hard-
up to stretch Office because their new fall comedy development slate
is really worse than an hour of Office?
Gotta agree with you here. Daft idea.
Maybe some ambitious, young middle management type just floated the idea at
a staff meeting? Isn't that the hell from whence such rumors come?
