She and George Eads were fired in between seasons a few years back -
very briefly, because they were complaing about their contracts or
something.

I knew it had advanced quite a bit back then, but I couldn't remember
how far it had gone. I was thinking they brought in replacements, but
I'm blank about who replaced them so I figure I was imagining that scenario.

- Fox was fired for not returning paperwork that promised to CBS she's
work thru the contractual difficulties
- Eads, having similar contract issues, overslept and CBS took it to
mean he wasn't showing up to work, so he was fired
- CBS went out to talent agencies to find replacements, but the 2 were
re-hired before replacements could be found
