I thought that was a 'taste' issue. Warm beer...warm

Which came first, the "taste" for warm beer or having only warm beer to
drink?

I rather imagine that the inventors of beer in Egypt and Mesopotamia
drank theirs warm and they liked it that way.

Not much choice in the desert without refrigeration--unless you drink only
at night.

soda/pop/cola/whatever.
These people have odd taste...they even toss all their leftovers into a
mash
potato shell, call it 'pie', and have their lizard king brag about it.

Well we make it a "stew"--or a "gumbo" if you're in Weeziana.

It's only gumbo if it contains okra. Accept no substitutes.

And gumbo is the only way I'll eat the evil that is okra since it drowns out
the taste (tho not the crunchiness).
