I absolutely LOVE merrily plonking right wing idiots at any and all
opportunities too

I despise political crap (its never reasoned discussion as any
political post made to a non political newsgroup is just an excuse to
rant and spew utter bull*** meant to inflame and never to inform) in
inappropriate forums. Whether its a comics, TV, opera or fly fishing
newsgroup its in the WRONG place fuckwits!

Having said that , I always take a minute to PLONK every nutcase in
the thread and if its a thread-that-will-not-die, then I will PLONK
the entire thread itself. Certain "key" words in most groups I
regularly visit for non political information are ALWAYS killfiled
such as Bush, abortion, Cheney, immigration, Clinton, Iraq, Iran,
Hillary, Congress, Senate, Republican, Democrat etc,,, thus ensuring
that ANY new threads with those verboten terms in the thread header
never ever even show up on my screen. There are plenty of newsgroups
that are the right places to discus political and religious arguments
and thoughts and in THOSE groups my killfile list is entirely differ
net. In one of those newsgroups perhaps I would have terms like Paris
Hilton or quantum theory killfiled.

I read 4 newspapers a day, always have the news on the TV even when on
the PC and am a political news junkie but I DO NOT come to the Usenet
forum for nascar or bigboobed left handed drunk women to get my
information on the state of the nation or of the world. Thanks anyway
and a hearty Plonk to all who need it
