Re: ''...the analog hole...''

I hadn't given the subject much thought until I read the editorial
yesterday. It pissed me off so much I went out and bought an "analog
hole". Actuaaly, K-World makes a nifty RF converter that converts the
PC signal (ie:display) to NTSF or PAL in resolutions up to 1024x768.
It's got a splitter for the monitor out (15 pin) plus SVHS, AV, and RGB
to SCART cables. Works with video projectors. Also called "pc to tv
converter", "tv tuner card/DVD maker" and "pc to tv video box".
I suppose you could loop it back and lose the broadcast flag in the
traslation if you got really pissed off at people tellling you what and
when you could watch, considering you already paid for the cable
service AND had to delete all the commercials.
$43 plus or minus at all the usual places. Volume discounts
available.
