Nasty commercials

I can't believe I haven't seen anyone comment on the Hallmark
commercial, advertising some Christmas-themed serving plate, where the
young adult woman is putting decorated cookies on the plate - and LICKS
HER FINGERS between each cookie. Her mom is listening to her talk with
this dreamy, fond expression on her face and imagines her daughter as
she was young, doing the same thing. She just keeps going smack, pick
up cookie, slurp, pick up cookie, lick, pick up cookie. Eew, enough!
What's the matter with ad agencies, when they don't use focus groups,
or don't pick up on something like this vile habit and how unappealing
it is to a viewer? I'd purposely not buy any Hallmark product after
watching this.
