Re: Jennifer Love Hewitt is #1 AGAIN on Friday night

GW is sweet to the point of nausea. At least with JofA the sweet moments got
sprinkled here and there and were of varying sizes; not generally Mountains of
sugar with outpourings of lava-like syrup flowing down like hot lard to engulf
and choke you into a semi-comatose Entertainment Death.

But most important, what's missing in GW is *meaning*. Wisdom, smarts, points
for further thought. That old Barbara Hall (JofA) magic isn't there to give GW
the depth it so desperately needs. No, GW is just eye candy and sugar with a
few pedestrian foibles thrown-in to keep the plot going. And if JLH does any
more smiling her nose will leap off her face in protest.

GW is a superficial, pre-chewed, pre-formed commercial for itself.

'Course if you like that kinda thing go for it. Can't be all that easy to find
a perfectly fitting show for that session with the big mac and fries, after
all. Nex
