Marc's Notes: Although critics across the country were rooting for
UPN's Veronica Mars (2.5/4, 3.15 million) at 9 p.m., season two
of the critically-acclaimed drama lost a considerable chunk of its
rock-solid America's Next Top Model lead-in (4.1/6, 4.46 million).
Percent Change: Overnights: -39, Viewers: -29, A18-49: -38
Even so, compared to its preview telecast out of America's Next
Top Model on Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2004 (Overnights: 2.7/4;
Viewers: 2.49 million; A18-49: 1.0/3), this was still an increase of
660,000 viewers and 30 percent among adults 18-49. It was also
the most-watched episode of Veronica Mars and highest rated
among adults 18-34 (1.7/5), women 18-34 (2.4/6) and women
18-49 (1.8/4) ever.
