Yep, making it that much less scary. It was almost all during the day,
although they didn't say anything about that. It's like they shot it day
for night and nobody told the color timer to slap on the blue gels.

Hmm. It's sort of hard to remember much except Angie Harmon in her
underwear. Well, the ghost of dead lifeguard Stephanie showed up. And the
black cop was a regular, and then when the spin-off tanked was off the
parent show too since he'd quit being a cop to be a private eye. And one of
the parent show girls owned the nightclub where Lou Rawls sang the stirring
theme 'after the sun goes down' none of which really worked out SINCE THE
SHOW WAS IN BROAD DAYLIGHT. IIRC there was a fair amount of cast shake-up
between the first format, which was 'lifeguard by day, private dick by
night' and the second format which was 'night stalker' when their clients
all became supernatural.

The Hoff did get a shiny red Ferrari or Ferrari-like car though, on the
theory that we'd think he was Tom Selleck.
