This one is about Nancy. I hope she can play a significant role
between now and next September.

If possible they should have her say the show's last line since she
said the first, and not meant to upset anyone bbut given her age they
might even consider filming the final scene now while she's still
around, you never know with a 91 year old.

I totally agree.

But seriously, what a sad year for Helen Wagner. First, losing her
husband of many years. Then, losing her livelihood. How very
depressing.

The world is changing and I really don't like it. How many
presidencies did ATWT live through? 12! Ugh, and now it's over?!
It's just so wrong.

The only soap left that I have roots with is Days, and I haven't
watched it in years. But I'm gonna start watching again until that
one goes.

This massacre of soaps is really depressing.

I used to watch Days back in the late 70's/early 80's, then became a
more casual watcher and finally, a disgusted watcher, but it has
improved a great deal. There are some recasts and several young adult
characters that are new, but they've long since stopped with the crazy
storylines and are back to telling classic soap stories. Even
characters that I thought were completely played out, like Stefano,
are tolerable again, because he's not being written so cartoonish.

And Crystal Chappel is there as Carly. Also Shawn Christian (ex Mike,
ATWT).
