Y&R- You Can't Write One Better Than This!

As I sat back and watched this John Edwards scandal unfold, I was struck
by the PURE soap opera nature of the players and what the real story may
be.
Let's say Phyllis realizes she has cancer, she goes into remission, only
to have Nick meet a skanky ho kinda woman in a bar in NY. Phyllis, being
the smart woman that she is, realizes an affair has taken place. Nick,
being dutiful and tied to his family, tells the family about his
"dalliance" and says it's over. (Note to self: be MORE careful!!)
During Nick's travels for Restless Style, he keeps meeting up with his
NY tryst, only to father a baby with this tramp. He can't let anyone
find out because he's just made it back into the Newman fold, so he asks
JT to act as the father of his love child so no one will be suspicious
of him.
With no visible means of support, mamababy lives in the richest county
and city on the California map, tucked far away from GC. Whenever Nick
gets to travel to L.A., they meet up at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
There's one hitch: The Iquisitor is waiting for Nick's departure and
catch him in an awkward moment.
He travels home, only to have to face his wife and admit he'd seen the
woman who fathered JT's baby. (Victoria's in on Nick's secret.) Nick:
"Nothing happened." "Swear."
Oh, I forgot to add up there that Phyllis' cancer has gone from
remission to full blown inoperable. Can you imagine the sympathy that
would be swelled for her?!?
Ravl
Sharon and Jack might work even better!
