It must have been on a Wednesday, because I feel sure you're going toThe t-shirt from the first concert they went to and the tape

as to why she kept something. I never figured out what it was though,
that she kept. Maybe you can tell.
Dusty made her of their favorite songs when they were friends
in the 80s.
The whole thing is so ridiculous. It would have been obvious
to anyone but Holden that Lily was not mourning the loss of a
lover, she was mourning the loss of a friend of twenty years.
She should simply have put the box in the attic of THE GREAT
BIG HOUSE THAT IS SITTING EMPTY NEXT DOOR BECAUSE THE WRITERS
ARE TOO DAMN STUPID TO WRITE AROUND THE ABSENCE OF A SET.
Whew, that felt good! Sorry folks, I just couldn't hold it in
any longer. I won't yell again.

What great big house that's next door? Do you mean Lily and Holden's
house? That's located closed to town, IIRC, not out in farm country.
But, still, point taken. She could have hidden it in the barn, at
least, but we don't have that set, either.
No, the house is fairly close to the farm. They've established
that over the years. Cal bought the next farm over from Emma's
when he came to town, and Holden and Lily's house was right next
to his; they could walk to it.
Barbara
I do remember that when Lily bought the property and hired Mike to
build the house, she mentioned that it was near her beloved farm, but
we don't know how large Emma's farm is, or Cal's farm. They could be a
hundred acres each. There have been storylines that indicate that, as
you said, Cal's and Lily's are walking distance from Lily's,
especially when Rose was living at Lily's, then at Cal's, but there
have also been stories that implied that Lily's house was farily close
to the businesses in town, particularly in more recent years. So, I
think it moves to support the current plot.
Do you remember if the address is Luther's Corners, like the Snyder
farm? I think it may have originally been mentioned that it was. But,
of course, Luther's Corners was originally a decent distance from
Oakdale, with Milltown being even further away, but that has gotten
blurry, too, over the years. When Jack bought the Kasnoff Arts &
Crafts house, it suddenly became located two minutes from the Oakdale
Police Department!
KC
It must be somewhere near Statesville Prison, too. Chris and Emily had
each other's clothes off in the time it took Noah to get from
Lucinda's to Statesville. And what's up with it being called
"Statesville"? Doesn't OLTL have the copyright on that name, at least
at 2:00?
LOL, good one. I know most of the shows probably have locations that
shift with the storylines, but ATWT seems to do it pretty flagrantly.
Katie and Simon's cottage was way out in the middle of nowhere, yet at
the end, it was down the street and around the corner. Fairwinds may
not have changed locations, per se, but the sets we see now bear no
resemblance to the mansion when Lily lived there. Maybe there was a
mention of James remodeling it from gold and white Italianate to Dark
Shadows 101?
Of course, GL has the most dramatic history in that respect, having
been based in several different *cities* (even states?) over the years
and Cassie's farmhouse, Hart's property, suddenly became located on
the waterfront, where the adjoining property had this glorious old
hotel, the Beacon.
These days, though, with the Peapack locations, it's all twisted up.
Harley's house is supposed to be a brand new build, but the new
outside location doesn't match anything we've been told about it. All
this talk about Reva's movie and Cross Creek seem to ignore the fact
that Cross Creek: The Property is located in Tulsa and only Cross
Creek: The Love Shack is located in Springfield. But, they work with
what they have and they found the perfect mansion to play the role of
the outside of the Spaulding mansion.
KC - When I run spell check, the suggested alternative for Peapack is
Cheapjack. Hmm, maybe the spellcheck people have seen GL's budget.
