My thought: If Sony is smart, this will turn into a REAL e-commerce
site, they'll build in product placement into the stories, and the
whole thing will show that soaps CAN still make money selling things.

ABC has dallied with this, but lamely. Let Y&R turn this into a REAL
e-commerce site. Several of their actresses (Melody, Tracey) already
have thriving side businesses. Lauralee Bell runs a whole boutique On
Sunset. Sell this stuff through the site, rake in the dough, and save
daytime. I'm down with that!
