Donna, I know you also have a TiVo. Do you find yourself
trying to rewind the radio sometimes? Or wishing you could
put real life on pause for a few moments?

I don't really have a situation where it would seem possible to rewind the
radio, but I am crazy when I am watching TV elsewhere. I begin to make these
little finger movements, or look around for the TiVo Peanut. LOL That's
true of not being able to FF also, though.

Oh, I don't think it's possible to rewind the radio, but I will start
to reach for the (non-existent) remote if I miss something. I
only have the radio on when I'm in the bathroom getting ready
for work or bed and thus it only gets about half my attention at
most, so I miss a lot.

My b-i-l was up last year for a weekend visit. We turned on a show
a few minutes after it started so I was able to FF through the ads.
When that ended, I left him in the other room to watch something
he was interested in that I didn't particularly care to see. The first
commercials came on and he walked in with the remote held out
in front of him and asked "Can you fast forward like you did before?"
in this wonderfully plaintive voice. I explained why not and he said
that that was what he thought, but it was worth asking. My brother
pretty much tunes into every show about eight minutes late so he
can skip the ads. I find it too much trouble to keep track, so I just
check email or read during them, as I always have.
