Using her supposed death to lure Jack closer to her,

So as viewers are we supposed to root and cheer for this development in
Carly and Jack's relationship? We're supposed to think it's just wonderful
that she is lying to everyone, including her children and using her supposed
death to get what she wants while Jack cheats in his wife of a few weeks
because it means Jack and Carly are back together?

That's what I'm seeing so far, Anthony. (And all of this is happening
within a week of Carly telling Ro that the lesson she had learned
about lying was that it didn't work and the lies always come out.)


Isn't that astounding? I thought FINALLY Carly gets it! Now they've trashed that lesson within days... seemed more like hours! This just kills me...


I fault him for blinding himself to the fact that he wasn't
over Carly when he chose to go forward with his relationship with
Katie. As I've said several times, he wanted it to be over with Carly,
but wanting it didn't make it true, and he's been with Carly long
enough not to have fallen into that trap--and he had an obligation to
Katie not to imperil her happiness and peace of mind that way.
Appalling.


That's exactly how I feel too, Michael. When he was running from Carly, he never stopped once and thought about what he was doing to Katie... IF he couldn't *make* it work with her. He owed it to them both, to work out his feelings for Carly first.

Not looking forward to this dragging out now that Carly has reverted to type.
