Wally Kurth (ex-Ned, GH; ex-Justin, DOOL) is joining the cast in the role of
Sam sometime soon. It's a short term recurring role, but TPTB are hoping he
catches on with viewers and they'll keep him around. No word on who he is
or what storyline he'll be part of.

I hope he catches on and they dump Peck. This show needs some new men.
Paul has been ruined, Dusty has been ruined for many people, Craig
functions as Stenbeck used to back in the day, Jack is just off the
table, since the show doesn't have the balls to defy those dopey
CarJackers, Holden is probably eternally tied to Lily, too, Brad has
improved, but he's still not interesting. Rumored comings and possible
goings may help shake things up on this show, but I don't have high
hopes, because I think those characters will be plugged back into the
orbit of the people they know and will be stuck there. Half of the
excitement of the Henry/Vienna pairing was that it was so unexpected.
Henry is the only adult guy on the show that's interesting these days
and doesn't have enormous baggage with everyone on the canvas.
That may be the crux of the problem with the show these days, that
most of the characters have little or no rooting value after all
they've done to themselves and others.
