Did I miss the switch that got flipped in this boy?? One day he's

I 'get' that he's confused, but the range of emotion has been so
dramatic, it's left me with that "thinking about it too much" feeling.
Why can't they continue to write this amazing dialogue with humor and
basically ok stories without the constant back and forth of emotions
that make you think too much about it all??
Once again, my payoff was worth the head scratching as that one scene
with Noah and Phyllis rocked. I'm talking about the one where he didn't
want to hug her but she hugged him and told him she understood his
feelings. When he rushed back in to hug her back, it opened the flood
gates on me.

I never had kids so I don't understand alot about them. But you're right - one minute he is telling Sharon he wants to live with his dad because Nick is the only one that didn't make any mistakes (he doesn't know about cheating on Sharon with Phyl) and the next minute he wants Jack to take him home. What does this kid want???? (I think he NEEDS and whack on the bottom.) He seems to get whatever he says.
Well - back in my day...................
