The rings *are* a symbol, but if the marriage is over, who says you have
to stop liking/wearing the rings? Many are very beautiful.
The divorce was amicable, even though she'd had an affair, but
wouldn't you think she'd at least have the rings reset? I mean,
they're *wedding* rings and the *wed* part has been over for *years*.

I know several women who had theirs made into a pendant. My DH is
going to have my ex-rings, plus some other interesting stones, made
into something new, like a divorce casserole.

I'm a widow and I wear the center stone from my engagement ring as a pendant. I was wearing it when I met my DH and he has never suggested that I not wear it.
