Legend has it that when Macy "died" the second time (after a chandelier
crushed her)...and the death was offscreen...that somehow Sally and
Adam had secreted her away from "dangerous" LA for healing. Since the
mob killed Macy (trying to get at Oscar), and Adam was also on the run
from the mob, it makes sense that they'd really want to guard her.
Plus, they did it once before (secreted her to Italy for healing)...why
not again?

So, if Sally has a history of rushing her near-dead brain-injured
daughters away for healing, why not do it for "precious Darla" too?

There is another element here. Even if Darla has an open-casket
burial...hell, even if she is cremated on screen...we don't have to
believe that she is dead. Maybe--to protect Taylor (whom he is
monitoring at all times)--Prince Omar will secret her away and subject
her to the special Arabian healing that has twice brought "precious
Taylor" (maybe "precious Layla") TWICE back from the dead (looking none
worse for the wear except for ballooning lips).The cremation remains,
then, would be some wax dummy or other contrivance.

On that note, the show's seminal heroine, Caroline Spencer (who died
onscreen of an unnamed cancer) might not be dead. Maybe her dad Bill
Spencer secreted her away to some tonic waters, and she (and her
amazing twin sister!) will someday return as well.

Then the Forrester men could keel over dead of multiple simultaneous
aortic ruptures as their dead women simultaneously come back to haunt
the.

I'm starting to like this idea :-)

It wasn't Sally who did that to Macy the first time. It was her
father. She crawled into some cabin and her long lost father just
happened to stumble upon her and take her to Italy to recover. Sally
did not know she was alive.
