Hey, it's working for me! I don't do heavy weights, just 5 pounders in
each hand for 10 minutes when I walk and I'm blown away at how different
my body is since Oct. 1. Walking with weights that are *so*
manageable... Easy schmeasy. Results are I've gone from a heavy 16 (I
held up the jeans I thought I "looked good" in...aye carumba!)
to 10-12 and medium tops. I love that my visual perception of my size,
meaning when I shop, mediums are the size I visualize fitting and it's
TRUE!) just blows me away. I had some *serious* arms and now they're
actually getting tank top action!
Another belly buster is a supplement called CLA. It stands for
Conjugated Linoleic Acid. It's similar to how the flaxseed oils and fish
oils help regulate fat and cholesterol. CLA is found in dairy products
from cows that graze on grass. Since we as a nation have cut back on our
dairy intake and reduced the fat portion of it, our CLA intake has
reduced over the years. When combined with exercise, it targets the fat
region in the middle and helps break down that portion in the cell and
allows removal through, well, you know....
The dairy board's campaign about eating more dairy and lose weight is
true. It's because of CLA in the products. Do a search for Tonalin CLA.
Vitamin shoppe has it.
Just as soon as I am over this damned
outbreak of shingles.
I am so hurting.
Ouch. That's a bad illness. At the very least, I hope your doctor gave
you some good meds to ease the pain.
