Oh my God. I had to turn the show off today. Last
wednesday night I had to put my daughter in a detox
hospital. She's been calling home crying everyday.
We don't get her back for a while but I couldn't
bear to watch Gus knowing that my daughter is
suffering like that. Maybe not quite so bad cause
she is in a hospital but I know it's not good.
My heart really goes out to you, Kathy. I've had to deal with the same problems, but I'm unable to commit my daughter, because she's an adult. At least now the abuse is prescription meds, and eventually I hope she will find the right doctor who will recognize she's bi-polar, and treat her correctly.
I hope this treatment will help your daughter reclaim her life and give you some peace of mind. You are definitely not alone in this struggle.
