It's been confirmed by TV Guide Online, who say they got it from the
show itself. So, I guess it's true. Now, the only time I watched the
show (though briefly) was during it's 'supercouple' era when the show
was all about romance, so I'm familiar with the pair and their history.
My favorite was the early days of Jack and Jennifer, but the show is
so different now I couldn't imagine being worth watching no matter who
came back. My question is, how many DOOL fans who no longer watch the
show will tune in to see Patch and Kayla? As for MBE's coming back to
ATWT, it must be brief, just to usher in NuLucy before she disappears
again.
Well, the last time DAYS was bringing them back, they didn't do it. It fell
through. They dropped MBE & SN at the last minute & walked away without even
explaining. However, if they do go through with it this time, they'd still
have to come up with some writing, for more than just getting an influx of
old fans for a week or two. And, I can't imagine that they would do so. I
mean any storyline bringing Patch back, undead, explaining what happened
after his body was taken away by Lawrence's goons, ... it would need to be
good, after all these years of potential anticipation.
