IIRC, netscape's customer "service" had no idea what I was talking
about when I asked about newsgroups. Since google works, however
poorly, and netscape costs just $9.95, I decided to live with this
combo.
I don't blame anyone for giving up on usenet. I can't figure it out
even though I've been using it for years.
Mozilla has a newsreader. It's easy, it has filters, it's free.
Works
like the old Netscape newsreader (won't bother with going in to
the reasons) and it's not that hard. I hear Free Agent is wonderful.
Google works, but you have to, too. <g>
So, let me see if I have this right. If I get individual.net, then
Mozilla would give me newsgroups? 'Cause I tried to get Thunderbird (by
Mozilla) to work, but it wanted more information than I had, and just
try to get customer service from a free browser.
