Yes, I remember that exact scene with the female nurse telling someone,
"I'm sorry cell phones are not allowed in the hospital."
And the male (-??) character dissed it off with something like, "I'll
only be a second."
I think he had another male character in the scene with him.
(I don't know why I keep thinking this was Paul Williams/Michael
Baldwin but I could be wrong.)

Characters I recall using cell phones in hospital:

~Y&R~Michael Baldwin when Lauren was in H (-It seems like a few people
used their cells when Lauren was in the hospital.)

~Y&R~Scotty Grainger somewhere around the time he was talking to that
flirty nurse.

~ATWT~When ex-Luke was in hospital, out in the hallway, soon as Holden
walks away, Lily reaches in her purse and cells Keith behind Holden's
back to tell him over the phone to hunt for a kidney for Luke.

But in real life, doctors use cell's right there in the patient's rooms
receiving calls straight from their office. I told the doctor I
thought cells weren't allowed in the hospital and he said too many
patient's cells interferes with doctor's cells to where other's told me
something about their radiation equipment.
