Have you tried getting into nntp.aioe.org? � It is a free news service. �I
use it as a back up when Cox flakes out on me, which happens more often than

If you use Outlook Express (or maybe just Outlook too) you should be able to
access newsgroups with your ability to filter.

I'm on a Mac, and it's been a long time since I used Windows for Newsgroups,
but I know at one time I was using OE on a backup computer and it worked
fine. �You might want to check into it.
