Anyone else finding it hard to buy this new friendship between Greenlee
and Zach? Just looks a little odd to me, The friendship seems out of
character for both. Maybe it's the "real" Greenlee that's the
problem...since the 'friendship' formed with the 'former' Greenlee.<<

I thought it was out of character with ReplacementGreenlee, too. It made no
sense. I could accept a grudging truce between them, but what happened in
the bomb shelter to bond them besides the experience itself? At one point
Zach said that he was "wrong about Greenlee." In what way? Most of the time
down there she was a selfish, self-centered, whiner. Check. That fits with
the Greenlee we've all come to know over the years. Plus, no matter how he
became deaf, she still kidnapped Spike and involved him in a terrible,
painful, traumatic car accident. And it was the fact that she and Spike were
missing that spurred on Kendall's premature labor -- since she was
_deliberately_ missing (meaning it wasn't that she was stuck in traffic; it
was directly attributable to her idea to run off with Spike). So, that makes
Ian's premature birth pretty much her fault. So...WHY is Zach bestest fwends
with the woman who has caused his wife SO much pain and anguish over the
years, and is also responsible for both of his boys being in jeopardy?
Simply because they were trapped together for five weeks? As I say, a
grudging truce would be one thing, but this incredible closeness rings
absolutely false, particularly given Zach's general introvertedness.

If anything, I'd imagine a situation like this would make him cleave closer
to Kendall for awhile, and be more reticent with other people. Instead,
Kendall's getting shut out of his feelings, his pain, his healing, because it
is All. About. Greenlee. It's starting to feel uncomfortably like the days
of the show propping Babe to a ridiculous extent, with half the town running
around crying "Babe is love!" or whatever, no matter who she slept with or
kidnapped or lied to.

I hugely fear that this is a "chemistry test" on the part of the show. And
some idiot out there has already created a "Zachlee" tribute video on
YouTube!!! The funny thing is, I think all the scenes are from one day,
maybe two at most, because Budig has only been back for a short while, and
has hardly had any scenes with TK!

I think the show is making a huge mistake, not allowing their (arguably) most
popular super couple have even a few minutes of true happiness.
