I haven't been watching OLTL for awhile now (although i keep up on the
updates and such) but I was home today and decided to check in.

observations:
1. This Jared guy who's pretending to be Asa's son.  It's ironic that
he is stealing David Vicker's birthright as the new Buchanan son.
Considering, David tried to pretend to be Victor Lord's son many moons
ago (and was stealing Todd's rightful birthright).   Also parallel (or
retread depending on your point of view).  David had to fight his
attraction to Tina because she was supposed to be his sister (he knew
she wasn't but she didn't and they had several flirting/kissing scenes
that were gross because she thought she was kissing her brother).
Jared is fighting this attraction to his "niece" Natalie in the same
way.


Yeah on the one hand I keep thinking "total storyline recycle" but on
the other hand it is a nice nod to the show's history (and there have
been plenty of nods since the new writers came aboard and I'm LOVING
it).



2. Addie being miraculously healed.  Interesting story idea.  It would
be nice to see Addie do normal things like get a job and have a love
life now that she is fully functioning.

I find this one very intrigueing also. I wonder where they are going
with it though. You just know its not going to last and Addie's gonna
have another breakdown. Without posting a casting spoiler we know
that there is a Cramer family tragedy coming in the new year and I
wonder if Addie's new story plays into it.


3. Viki's lovestory.  It's nice to see Viki with a man, but I didn't
get very much chemistry from them in this episode.   But at least
she's finally getting some (wink,wink, nudge, nudge, say no more).


I'm glad she's finally getting a story and I like Charlie just not
sure I like them together. Hate to say it but he had more chemistry
with Dorian.



Oh the whole though the show does seem to have vastly improved over
when I stopped watching regularly last year.
