Do the stars win any money for Dancing With The Stars or are they paid

From what I can tell, all they win is an ugly trophy.

It is an ugly trophy.

But, the pros are being paid per week aka per performance, so the longer
their pairing stays in the competition, the more pay they get.

I don't know if the 'stars' get scale per performance or not, but I would
guess that they would have to.
