AMC: Doc-in-a-box spec

Okay, here's my totally wild-assed theory on who put
the doc in the box...

Okay, I know this sounds crazy, but just stick with me
for a minute.
IIRC, Madden was abducted and boxed up right around
the time that creepy Terry arrived in PV looking for his
daughter. Assuming we're all correct and that his daughter
is really Kate, he knows who Madden is, and may well
know that Dixie was the birth mother.
So, what if Terry suspected that Madden helped Annie
get away with the daughter? He then kidnapped the doc
and proceded to try to torture the truth out of him, all the
while making it sound like he was a PV-ite looking for
Kate in order to make sure Madden would never suspect
him when he got out.
If you assume he knows about the Dixie side of things
somehow, this actually works pretty well -- none of the
Sanctimartinous posse or their friends go down for the
murder, because we have an expendable character to
blame. Plus, we already know Terry is a total psycho,
and it makes an even better case for Kate needing her
"real" father, Tad. And since no one in PV is to blame,
there's no permanent wedge driven between Josh and
any of his extended family members/co-workers/other
potential connections.
Just a random thought, and, as I mentioned above,
totally wild-assed. ;)
