While it's a _very_
human quality to create a big project and store it on your computer's
hard drive and not make a back-up CD, it isn't very smart. PEOPLE,
BACK-UP YOUR ***!
The day that all came out and Babe went on and on about how someone had
deleted her presentation I seriously thought she was going to say at some
point that is was a good thing she had backed it up. I would think it would
be good practice to save a big project anyway but when working in an
environment that you know is hostile wouldn't it be a given.
I keep wondering who this big presentation is for? If it's for the other
Fusionistas, what's the point? She has to know they're just going to shoot
down whatever she has to say. And since when have new Fusion concepts or
promotions been handled by formal presentations? Usually, one of the twits
flits in and says, "Hey, I have a great idea for a lip gloss, cuticle cream
and acne ointment all in one!" The other twits all clap their hands with
approval and then go on to other important work -- like talking about their
personal lives.
