What is *with* that yacht club set??!? It's like the sun is in a
perpetually peachy place in the sky. The lighting is horrific -
especially since most places in PA are flooded and haven't seen the sun
in **DAYS** (How *are* you PA guys faring anyhow?)! <<

Thanks for asking, Mare. The rains here have been, no exaggeration, of
biblical proportions this week. Luckily we're okay, but it's been sobering
watching the news footage of people flooded both east and west of us (and to
those who know Philadelphia, you can't imagine how weird it is to have Kelly
Drive underwater!). We do have standing water on the lawn, but mercifully it
was a dry day, so maybe we'll have dried up enough so that when the rains
start up again tomorrow the basement will stay safe...

Why am I not surprised that she would be your house deity? :-) Bastet sits
front and center on our house altar, and our black (male) Bombay often jumps
up and sits right next to her, posing exactly like her. It's quite
entertaining!
