AMC Yawner... when you can't come up w/ new ideas, recycle, recycle!

Oh, you mean this silly bar idea will go beyond off-camera antics? Ugh.
Besides the sort of icky mix message they're sending to _part_ of their
core audience (those girls wanting cosmetics, but to young to drink),
this is just stupid Hayley and stupid Mateo's yawner 'S.O.S.' all over
again and they got this real-life musical star (forget her name) to
sing in the opening... along w/ some cameos by 'Extra' (you know that
gone-nowhere hodge podge entertainment TV show dead last in the
ratings) reporters; WOO-HOO!!! Call me naive ("okay, you're naive"),
but I didn't expect it to go beyond talked about and quietly launched
behind-the-scenes. C'mon, are the writers short attention spans THIS
bad, they're ready to quietly phaze out the floundering cosmetics
company idea? Not that Enchantment Enterprises and Courtland
Electronics is anything more than an old 'The Time Machine' ('60s
movie) relic that's not even a distant memory.

Ah, yes and how could we poor viewers EVER (ever!!!) forget about the
almost annual paper cut-out dolls of forgettable teens they launch at
the start of what feels like _every_ summer (must we have a redux of
Becca, Dixie's Pigeon Hollow dull as a doorknob dolt?), only to have
them never work out as even short-term core characters??!! Ooh, a
painfully (although, I'm sure bodily joints physical for her, too)
SORAS'd Colby hooks up w/ a SORAS'd Petey and the return of Tom and
Livia's kid. I'm on the edge of my seat here, people.

Taylor (who would rather go down to George and Louise Jefferson's
ground-floor bar for libations... and would like to see this new bar
appear as frequently!)

Yeah, and P.S. Ah, the show does an absolute STELLAR job (_not_ a
compliment!) at creating subhuman characters (Babe, Amanda... sort of
beginnings for Josh), digging them sooooooo deep in *** (though it
seems to be actuality for good old Greg! ha-ha!), only to turn them
around, so it should be no time before they want us routing happily for
Punch Drunk Love JR.
