I don't watch OLTL regularly anymore, but I used to watch it when the
original Clint was on. I agree - Jerry ver Dorn has taken an almost
impossible recast situation and owned it!

Along the same lines, but a different show - on GH I think Laura
Wright's recasting as Carly has been very successful as well.
