I figured the "cancel" thing out and sent a request. It says it may not be
removed right away though. Thanks for the help. I didn't know it was
possible to do that. I guess you learn something new everyday.

I don't know about OE, but with Netscape you can cancel your own posts,
if it is still showing up on your news server.

You can cancel your own posts with Outlook Express, but they will
disappear only to people who have NOT opened them yet. Those of us who
opened them already will still see them.

Can you explain how to do this? Also, I may not have posted with OE. I
also post from google groups. Is there a way to tell?
