I could be mistaken but I think I read that Tyler Christopher didn't
want a Nik/Emily pairing back when Amber Tamblyn was on the show due to
real life age differences. IOW I completely understand your reaction.

BTW, Christine, as a long-time lurker I really enjoyed reading your
posts back in the Stefan days. I did not like the Stefan and Laura
pairing but appreciated your intelligent comments.
