Okay, I finally watched this...and it WAS appalling! I can't fathom how
those actors were willing participants in it! I'm sure that in addition to
the abomination that was the dialogue, probably also the costumes and set
dressing were a mixed bag of cultural gobbledy-gook, and not anything
specifically from the South Pacific island on which it was supposed to be
taking place. And do they even _use_ blowguns there? Do they even _have_
chimpanzees there? Ugh. Embarrassing!

And, whoever said that Tristan Rogers aged well, I agree! I'd seen him in
stuff over the years - most notably in a first season episode of Babylon 5
(1993), and in an independent film from 2000 called "A Piece of Eden" (which
has Babylon 5's Andreas Katulas in it, which is why I own it <g>), and I'm
amazed at how dapper he continues to look.
