I'm not one to believe every bit of gossip that comes down the Internet
(because I've always heard that MB is very professional), but if this is
true, it is funny!

Everyone on the show is more sympathetic than Sonny! Javier Ruiz is more
sympathetic than Sonny! You know why? It's because Sonny is so damn
self-righteous all the time. He can do any lousy thing he wants, make as
many stupid, bad decisions as he wants (like keeping a clearly insane Carly
at home rather than getting her help), but he always justifies it by saying,
"That's just the way I am." But let anyone else make one mis-step, and they
are BANNED from his world. He can't abide betrayal, he can't abide mistakes,
he can't abide lies.
Also, he's a MOBSTER, yet he looks down his nose at other mobsters!
According to Sonny, Faith was a "psycho bitch" just because she wanted her
piece of the pie (and some respect), Lorenzo is the scum of the earth, the
Santos guys all deserved to die in a hail of bullets, and now the Ruiz
family are horrible and dangerous. But they all do the same things Sonny
does. Sonny's not just a mobster -- he's a snobster!!

You mean Reese is not falling at Sonny's feet? It sure looks to me like she
has been. She left her career at the FBI (a career where she was able to
find kidnapped children and bring them home, which was supposedly the most
important thing in the world to her) to join Sonny's world. Since then,
she's had all kinds of run-ins with the law, started a law practice where
she does absolutely nothing except cater to Sonny, and has been pushed aside
for Sonny's delusional ex-wife. Yet she keeps coming back for more. Idiot.
