OLTL Carlo the Greek Chorus

Is anyone else as tired as I am with Carlo pontificating to Cris in the
cell? Why the hell is he there? Did they have Thom for a few extra weeks
and felt they had to use him SOMEHOW, even in the most stupid way possible?
Why on earth would Carlo care one whit about Cris? Why would he desire to
taunt him? Why would he want to encourage him to get back with his ex? Why
would he care whether or not John Doe is the real Cris? None of this makes
any sense. Every time I see Carlo overacting his way into Cris' cell, I
know another stupid, meaningless scene is coming up. I don't even know if
the actor knows his motivation--he just stands there with that nonblinking
stare and those evilly arched eyebrows while he talks in an annoying
monotone about stuff that nobody cares about.
