Re: OLTL/Uncasting rumor

You know as well as I do that my intention in joining this thread was
only as a gentle reminder to quote back. One should not have to do
research on a post to find out intent. You also know, having been
participating in newsgroups so long, that there was nothing untoward
about that request and that it serves a purpose.

Thank you for finally admitting the truth and proving my point. You
knew perfectly well what the conversation was about

No I did not. Since I don't read all the posts the first one read was the one I commented on. If it had been done correctly (with a quote back) I would have. I'm so sorry that I don't spend my life reading this group like you do. Try getting some sunshine. It is said to cure mental illness.

But I am repeating myself.... you chose to ignore the truth and to attack me, and merely because of who did the posting, not at all because of what the post was about. THAT is a troll!

for no other reason than to provide a "gentle reminder" to someone
because you didn't like the way they posted. The only two logical
explanations for that is that you are (a.) extremely controlling, which
irritates people and results in the negative attention you get, or (b.)
you think you're smarter than everyone here and want to show it,
which irritates people and results in the negative attention you get.
You might try proving your intellect with intelligent conversation,
rather than bragging about it, 'cause I expect the majority of us on
the group would be perfectly proud to go toe-to-toe with you
on IQ scores.

To take such a comment and turn it around to make me the bad guy or the
stupid guy or a troll is so rediculous! I'm glad it was done publicly.
There are lots that read and don't post and this is the reason why.

If anyone out there is reading these posts, and not posting because
you are afraid that regulars here will treat you badly if you disagree,
I can assure you that is not the case. I have often disagreed with
many posters here, resulting in respectful and well-thought-out
discourse. I would only suggest not regularly calling others stupid
and nasty, or liberally sprinkling yours posts with phrases like
"Duh!" and "So, there!" and you'll be treated just fine.

Since your post had absolutely nothing to do with my gentle reminder
(because it preceeded it and was not mentioned in the post I was
addressing) it means you intentionally have jumped in, ignoring facts
and looking for a fight.

Slam away!

Suzanne jumped in after you said, "Thanks for more proof how nasty
you all are on here! What idiots!" The use of the word "all" would at
least appear to mean everyone who participated in the thread, which
includes her. In fact, she posted previous snippets after you supposedly
wanted to know what the thread had been about (although you've now
admitted you already knew). If you see trying to give you the information
you asked for as spoiling for a fight, no wonder you've been treated
the way you have here.

I encourage you to reveal your true nature to this group. It only makes
me shine!

There's one thing you said in another post that I think we can actually
all agree on -- it is perfectly obvious to anyone reading what is going
on here.

Laney, perfectly aware that I might as well be talking to a brick wall at this point
