I'm looking for a method for giving an actress braces on her teeth for

I didn't see anything there to do braces with, unless youu're suggesting
that they be painted on the teeth with silver greasepaint or silver
glitter.

If what you want is the glint of the wires (like the modern "invisible
braces) I'd probably play around with very thin silver cording from the
thread section of the fabric store, gluing it to front teeth with latex. If
you want the big blocky anchors as well or the old-style steel rings, i'd
try "Friendly Plastic" modelling plastic, building the look you want on the
vic^h^h^h actor's teeth and either molding it so that it's a single-piece
prosthetic or gluing each ring front in place with latex. Again, silver
thread for the wires can be molded in while you're making the rings.
