Thank you to all "youse guys". If you ever need a philly
cheese steak or philly soft pretzel or philladelphia brand
cream cheese, let me know. (Scrapple, however, will not ship
well.

Ahh, scrapple. My favorite breakfast!

The Philly product I miss simply isn't made any more, AFAIK:
Frank's Orange Soda. Pure Heaven in a bottle.

Scrapple is the nearly perfect breakfast food since it gives you three of
the four basic Pennsylvania Dutch food groups (Salt, Fat, Starch and
Caffeine). Merely add a cup of coffee and you're home free. For those of
you on the east side of the pond, scrapple is the closest thing we Americans
have to haggis, at least in the diametrically opposed feelings of euphoria
or disgust that it engenders in its adherents and opponents. (see
http://www.globalgourmet.com/food/sleuth/0998/scrapple.html for more
details) Personally, I'm in the group that likes both, but I also eat the
Swedish traditional like foods blood pudding, isterband sausage and
surströmming, so I'm probably no judge of what is disgusting food and what
isn't!
