Think about this for a second. Put a lamp in and test to make sue the
green is ground (you should get inf ohms between it and the other
two). Once that's done, it doesn't matter. A lamp is passive, it
just conducts, so as long as it is between the hot and neutral, it
doesn't care what color the wire is. Since the wireing is an old
standard, there's little point in trying to comply with it.
