True, although the failure to locate 'Fast Find' interferes with the
boot-up sequence. The point I was trying to make is that sometimes PCs
behave unpredictably. This is not what you want of a lighting control.
You need total reliability.
You also want operational convenience, which I am not convinced that a
PC offers. I have 108 channel faders, a numeric keypad, two wheels, and
more dedicated push-buttons than I can remember. Two monitors telling
me what's going on, and a number of other controls I have not yet found
need to explore. How do you do that on a PC?
For a small installation, it may work.
