Indulge me as I describe what I imagined just happened - after lobbing
several accusations of bigotry my way, you finally got around to
actually reading the offending note. After careful examination, you
were shocked to discover that the prose was 100% racism free. Yikes.

All you had to do to get off the hook was to say "oops, I was wrong"
and all would be right as rain. I do it all the time - a few days
ago, I must have written five hundred words to Jeanne explaining how
the President could circumvent orders by Secret Service agents by
threatening the head of the CIA. She quite correctly pointed out that
the SS doesn't report to the CIA. What can I say? She was right, I
was wrong, and I said so.

Yes, I'm quite aware that Africa is a continent, just as you are aware
of the difference between the words "due" and "down", and Obama is
aware that the United States doesn't really have 57 states. Doesn't
really change the point of much of anything, does it?

BTW, the above bon mot took me less than a minute to find. I'm sure
that I could dig up lots more were I motivated. Then I would have a
list on file. What fun.
