I do like Sarah Palin.  She's not a turkey.
.
Oh yes she is
.
She's a mother of five who chose to carry a child with Down Syndrome.

She's run a fishing boat in Alaska.

Without any connections whatsoever, she became a mayor and a governor.

As Governor, she has an 80% approval rating.

Not any more she doesn't. That approval rating dropped a huge 20% in the
first few weeks of her VP campaign. >
.
No, it went from 80% to 68% - a 12 point drop.  Not entirely
surprising, considering that the Establishment media went after her
more viciously than I've ever seen before.  At the time the 68% was
taken, there were several "investigations" going on about her, (which
have since cleared her)

Another lie. The 1st investigation found her guilty of breaking Alaskan
ethics law.
.
The first investigator was a party hack, and even he found Sarah
innocent of violating state law. Of course, the second, REAL
investigators, completely vindicated Sarah.

The first investigation was authorized by a bipartisan committee, mainly
made up of Republicans and thus the Republicans would have been
principally responsible for hiring the investigator. The 2nd
investigation was run by people appointed by Palin. Sorry, but there
will be no rewriting of history by you (or anybody else).

As for the first investigator, he said that she had the power to fire
the guy for any reason, even the lame-ass one of firing him because he
wouldn't fire her ex-brother-in-law (which he said was probably part of
the reason). And he said that all the pressure put on the guy by The
First Dude and numerous Palin staffers was indeed an illegal ethics
violation. That's the facts, so claiming it's not so is useless.

the National Enquirer launched a series of
smear pieces and she was attacked daily.
.
The National Enquirier???!!!!! You're referencing a supermarket tabloid?
.
Yup.
.
I'd say you must be joking, but, sadly, I fear you're not.>
.
I don't see much of a difference between the Enquirer and the New York
Times these days.

Yeah, that's your problem right there.
