I wasn't asking you to. I made a comment about not seeing you ever
voicing *anything* *about* America that you think is better, which you
promptly responded to as if I my comment were that you should think
that *America* is better than any other country -- something I never
said -- yet you hypocritically accuse *me* of putting words in *your*
mouth?
Breakfast! I've never been a fan of the advertised "Full English Breakfast." Runny eggs, Bacon that won't stand up and salute. Perhaps some beans with fried tomato or mushroom. Gimmie that artery clogging monster omlette, pile o hash browns, a mess of them greasy sausage, and some wheat toast just to keep it healthy. Now if the greasy spoon could only make good coffee. You know what they say. Its brown, its warm, it must be coffee.
.Calm down! You're foaming at the mouth.
Idiotic comments like the above are par for the course for you.
As for the rest of your rant -
Yes, any criticism of you or people you agree with is known as a
"rant" or "whine" on RATM, and/or one is accused of "foaming at the
mouth," while you apparently are under the delusion that your posts
are the epitome of reasoned debate.
Apparently your extremely demanding job, at which you work such long
hours, doesn't occupy your mind, assuming you have one, enough to stop
you from harping on about a discussion that took place here almost
*three years* ago. Get a grip, get a clue, get a *life*.
All one has to do is look at your posting frequency on RATM as
compared to mine to know who really needs to get a life.
I bring up the TOPSY-TURVY exchange because it's so purely
Farrowesque, as well as it being the exchange where you made a first
impression on me, an impression which unfortunately you've only
reinforced over time. It wasn't even a political topic. It was an
artistic one, which is usually not subject to absolute proof or
disproof. But even in the realm of unprovable opinion, you displayed
an almost desperate condescending insistence that your opinion, merely
because it was the opinion that *you* held, must therefore trump (not
co-exist with, but trump) even Mike Leigh's.
