Survived 'Nixon In China'

Once you get used to the minimalist style, and to operatic conventions,
its an enjoyable and challenging piece. I'm not sure that I understood
a lot of it, especially the final act where there seemed to be very
little going on.
What do I mean by operatic conventions? Pronouncing words as they are
spelt: "come" with a hard o so it's "comm". Which actually is not
pronouncing it as it's spelt.
I heard one rhyme with the stress on the wrong syllable, which surprised
me as it comes up in bad lyrics threads all the time.
Still... Evita on Saturday!
