infants and children are prohibited from voting?

The American voting age should be *raised*-- to at least 37.

Eagle: should a right be something inalienable?

Like the right to a social safety net. I find "I didn't ask to be born"
a valid point.

Ah, c'mon, Steve. "I didn't ask to be born." is something teenagers
say when they paint their rooms black, slam the door, lock themselves
in and read Sylvia Plath if they are literate, or listen to Kurt Cobain
songs [or whoever the hell it is they listen to now] if they are not.
And all this because they were asked to take the trash out, or their
mean old English teacher wants them to write an essay about "what I did
on my summer vacation."
When they were younger they used to sit in the corner and curl up in a
fetal ball and rock themselves back and forth singing "nobody loves me,
everybody hates me, I'm gonna eat some wor-or-ormsssss...."
Of the two groups the latter can be taken care of with a cookie. The
former are more troublesome, because they either become drug addicts,
actors, revolutionaries or politicians.
Or to quote [best as I can] Norman in the DRESSER: "you always talk
about 'struggle and survive' ... the whole bloody world has to stuggle
and survive...so why shouldn't you?"
Suck it up.
:-D
