I don't think that Lion King would have any drag time for a kid. I'd
make sure he knew the songs and story line real well - kids can watch
the same thing over and over and over and enjoy it more each time - so
the familiarity is a real plus in keeping them engaged and attentive.
He'll love it, I think - lots of characters that appeal to boys.
Just one more obvious hint: make sure you get him up and moving as much
as possible at intermission so he's spent some of the physical energy
before he settles back down.
